FIMAS MODEL 298 AUTOMATIC UNIT FOR PRESSED FINISHING OF SHIRT (DRY AND CENTRIFUGATED GARMENTS), WITH TWO 180° ROTATING DUMMIES AND A FINISHING STATION WITH HOT PLATES AND HOT AIR BLOWING.
In the photo, the new model Fimas 298, just tested in the factory of Vigevano.
This challenging and complex project started one year ago and it saw the birth of the automatic unit 298 which is considered the flagship of the existing wide range of dummies for shirts finishing, branded Fimas.
In the photo, along with Mr. Cividini Walter (Managing Director of Fimas Srl), part of Fimas Technical Staff who has realized this new technology in the field of industrial finishing.
Fully automatic, it is a machine with a cutting-edge technology in all its functions and with a considerable production capacity.
Fimas is really proud to be in a leading position among the first manufacturers in Europe for a machine of such importance.
The model 298 will be officially introduced at Expo Detergo Exhibition in Milano, 3/6 October 2014.
By appointment it will be possible to see the machine and to make tests on it, directly in Fimas Factory in Vigevano.

Even the edition of Clean Show 2013, the largest exhibition for the american market for the Industry of commercial Laundries, Dry Cleaners and maintenance and textile rental sector, was lived up to expectations. Fimas was of course present at this important exhibition in collaboration with its exclusive distributor for the U.S. market, Donny Moore, owner of Clean Concept Equipments.
Many operators, interested and qualified, from various parts of the world have had the opportunity to discover and test the latest technology offered by Fimas.
The turnout was good and the widespread feeling - said Cividini Walter and Donny Moore- between exhibitors and visitors, was that of a cautious optimism. The smell was that of wanting to start a new era and in a short time.
The booth was very busy and on this occasion Fimas has had the opportunity to present directly to the American operators, the second version of dummy Fimas model 296 for shirts pressed finishing, which was introduced for the first time at last Texcare exhibition.

Clean Show 2011, the most important exhibition in the USA for commercial laundry industry, maintenance sector and textile rental, in Las Vegas from 6 to 9 June, has just concluded.
Fimas has been there in his stand with our distributor for the USA Mr. John Tipps supported by Alan Lawrence from Moore Service Company, Ohio.
The Fimas stand has been very successful and many people have visited it: a sign of the good interest of the American market for Fimas equipments.
Particularly attention has been spent for the range of dummies and vacuum/blowing tables.
Many U.S. visitors and many people from European and extra Europe countries.
The overall feeling is that the market is showing a cautious optimism and a gradual slow re-start for the U.S. economy.

New version of electro pneumatic and blowing dummy Series 379 for the complete finisching of jackets, short overcoats, coats, etc with fan and heater strengtheneds to be able to dry and to finish wet or dry cleaned cloths.

The dummy is built with a new motor with 3 Hp power instead of the 1,5 Hp motor of the standard model and with an heater biggest and measured for new and more powerful fan.

We enclose the picture of the version with the lateral sleeve expanders complete with cuffs blocking clamps controled by photocell.

ALTENPFLEGE + PROPFLEGE EXHIBITION ABOUT SUPPLYING FOR HOSPITAL, NURSING HOME AND COMMUNITY FOR LAUNDRY, RESTORATION AND CLEANING - NURNBERG, GERMANY 24/26 MARCH 2009

The finishing in the Industrial Laundry, if we are talking about working clothes in particular, it has to be fast, of good performance and quality, always related to the price for which this service is done.
FIMAS is proposing this new solution through a combined finishing equipment with both a device for trouser and mannequin stretching, addressed to washed or drycleaned garments.

MOD.380 – Blowing and vacuum rotating finishing dummy with double stretching both for trousers and jackets – is representing the last novelty in the FIMAS range of dummies.
What was already standard foreseen for the trouser stretching, is now included, as option, a special dummy for the stretching of jackets; in this way you will have a complementary machine in only one, by only rotating the finishing unit. Equipped with an electronic programmer which can set up and store up 10 different finishing programs; this new model is very easy to use and can become manual during or at the end of the working cycle.
As for models of serie 380, it can be equipped without boiler, to be connected to central steam plant, or with built-in boiler of 11 lt or 20 lt with variable installed powers in comparison with
different requests and is allowing a production from 60 to 75 garments and more each hour, depending on the different kinds of garments and fabrics.
With 2 finishing units, the downtimes between the finishing of one garment to the other are equal to zero as one unit is always working. The automatic rotation makes the working cycle easier, saving up to the operator the physical effort of the ironing unit change. On the contrary the manual rotation in comparison with the automatic one, allows to speed up this unit change , adjusting the speed of this operation to the rhythms of the operator. Coupled with an ironing tables FIMAS 103, vacuum and blowing, the rotating dummy SERIES 380 represents the basic, but adquate equipment for the ironing department of a laundry.

In spite of the present world and American economic crisis Clean Show 2009, the biggest Exhibition for the commercial laundering, drycleaning and textile maintenance and rental industry, has confirmed the expectations of everybody.
Clean 2009 took place in New Orleans from 18th to 21 st June 2009 in Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
Thousand of people have been travelling from all over the globe to see and learn about the most technological advanced products of the show.
Of course Fimas was present in this important Exhibition in collaboration with Clean Concepts - distributor for USA-.

Although the Exhibition has had some changes in comparison with the last edition -Walter Cividini declares- the multitude of people was good. Visitors and exhibitors have been having a cautious optimist and even if we know that the problems, above all financial problems remain, the common sensation was to want to go on and start again within short time.

Our stand was very much crowded and Fimas had the possibility to present new distributors
They will contribute to develop Fimas products and its presence in the amercian Market.

The american Market, also in this edition of Clean Show, is still showing a great interest in Fimas range of products especially for the line of multifunctions dummies, dummies for shirts pressing and also turnable dummies with double unit, single toppers and of course cold vacuuming/blowing tables.

The model 380 – rotating, steaming and blowing dummy - is suitable for the finishing of trousers, skirts, jackets, sport jackets, coats and jackets in general.
This model is equipped with electronic programmer thanks to which it’s possible to memorize up to 10 different pressing programs. Very easy to use, with the possibility to manually adjust the program even during the working cycle.
Supplied in different versions: without boiler, to be connected to the central plant or with built-in boiler (11 lt. or 20 lt), with variable installed powers, in according with the different needs. This model grants a production from 50 to 75 garments per hour, in according of course with the different kind of garments and fabrics. With 2 ironing units, the downtimes between the ironing of one garment to the other are equal to zero as one unit is always working. Furthermore being these units interchangeable, it’s possible to fit the unit with 1 trousers ironing device + 1 jacket ironing divice, or with respectively 2 trousers ironing device or 2 jackets ironing device. The trousers/skirts ironing unit is supplied pneumatic and it allows to position the trousers without any problems of size, with a such soft positioning to adapt automatically to any sizes. Besides it may be furnished, on request, complete with automatic trousers’ tensioning device: this accessory permits the controlled and adjustable tension of the trousers’ leg, granting an uniform ironing of the garment, without damage risks for the particularly delicate or light fabrics. The auto-matic rotation, other interesting and useful accessory on request, makes the working cycle easier, saving up to the operator the physical effort of the ironing unit change. For against, the manual rotation in comparison with the automatic one, allows to speed up this unit change, adjusting the speed of this operation to the rhythms of the operator. Coupled with an iroining table FIMAS 103, or table FIMAS 104 vacuum and blowing, the rotating dummy SERIES 380 represents the basic, but adequate, equipment for the ironing department of a laundry.
For the jacket and shirt ironing, FIMAS proposes, after dry-cleaning, washing or wet cleaning, a series of dummies which allow a very high productivity with best quality results, thanks to their versatility and automation.

FORM FINISHER FOR JACKET FIMAS MODEL 379
FIMAS garment finisher, model 379, perfectly joins our line of new machines. This new multiform uses automatic height adjusting, clamping, and tensioning to produce a very high quality finish on garments ranging from polo shirts, jackets, and blouses, to women’s dresses, long rain coats, and other long garments You can adjust all functions of the cycle to accommodate
any garments of any material. By holding the garment tight with slight tensioning, we loosen the fabric with steam, then use steam and air to penetrate the material, and then strong heated air to dry the garment with no wrinkles. This model is also easy to train new employees to prefinish most of garments with very good quality. When you place a garment on the machine and start the cycle, it will automatically find the correct height regardless if it is shorter or taller than the last garment finished. The form finisher rotates 180 degrees for easy loading and finishing of the garment and also makes finishing of wedding dresses much easier.

NEW MULTIFUNCTION DUMMY FIMAS MOD 317
The new dummy FIMAS 317 is suitable for finishing of shirts, jackets and coats in general, and represents a really interesting novelty as it solves the main problem connected to the multifunction dummy: now it can finish any garment well, fast and automatically. A solid and ergonomic structure is allowing an easy positioning of the garment, also thanks to the vacuum in the central part of the dummy. The machine is complete with pneumatic-controlled height adjustment of the dummy and of the side-clamps for the sleeves tensioning for an
easy sizing device. This dummy can be positioned even in small areas thanks to the compact dimensions; furthermore the front blocking device, thanks to his special and tested translation system, doesn’t interfere with the operator’s movement. In this way the positioning of the garment is fast and confortable.
The heated front blocking device and the powerful blowing of hot air is permitting the necessary and strong phase of drying that allows the final finishing of the shirts and of every kind of garment. The standard machine’s equipment foresees also the exclusion or the introduction of the different electro-pneumatic functions:
side stretching – locking of the front and back
clamp – non stop vacuum.
The trolley, which holds the blocking device, back and side, with expanders, automatically makes the garment’ search in heigh thanks to a photocell which finds and fixes the correct position before starting the finishing cycle. An electronic programmer allows to set 10 different finishing programs, giving a wide possiblity to work on different kind of garments without loosing working time and productivity. This machine can develop highmedium productions and represents the evolution of mod. 314.03, combining versatility of performances with high finishing quality. If the volume of the shirts is interesting but not enough for a traditional shirt finisher unit (less of 100/150 shirts per day), our model 317 is permitting to get through these garments in a fast and easy way, around 20/25 pieces per hour with a perfect finishing level that doesn’t need additional touches.
As well as the shirts, the machine can also finish jackets or sport jackets, dresses or overalls, only utilizing the back trolley (which is standard on the dummy) thanks to a rotation of 30 cm. and in combination with dummy’ height adjustment it permits the finishing of any garments from baby size to extra long size, without any manual or mechanic adjustment by the operator.
All the a.m. machines are always available for ironing tests by FIMAS’ showroom in Vigevano together with all the other models of our production.
